In a major development for Professionals Real Estate Group throughout Australia and New Zealand, Shane Kempton has been appointed its inaugural CEO.
Currently, the member owned Professionals has nearly 300 offices located throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Mr Kempton , who is currently a regional CEO of Professionals said he was both humbled and thrilled to become the first full time CEO of Professionals in Australia and New Zealand.
“It is a major milestone in the development of Professionals to have an industry experienced CEO 40 years after the group was first established in Brisbane, and then quickily embraced by members throughout Australasia.
“Professionals decided to appoint an Australasian CEO to provide central leadership and to be reponsible for executing the collective vision, mission and objectives of the group.
“As the Group CEO, I am committed to ensuring the brand stays competitive, engaging and relevant at a global level whilst maintaining our local identity and community connection.
“At the same time, I will ensure all offices throughout Australia and New Zealand are aligned to our shared vision, mission and purpose so we become a more effective organisation resulting in better outcomes for both members and
clients.
“In particular, I intend to immediately implement a number of new marketing initiatives throughout Australia and New Zealand that will enhance our competiveness including our lead generation program which has been delivering fantastic results regionally.
“A high priority is to expand the number of Professionals offices by sharing the advantages of our uniquely attractive business structure. As a member owned group, we are very different to the franchise model because all revenue is invested back into member services, essentially marketing, training and technology. Our ability to offer service options to Professionals members is another point of difference, and ensures we stay flexible in the highly evolving real estate profession. ” he said.
Ian Cornell, Group Chairman of Professionals, said he was delighted that Shane Kempton has been appointed the new Group CEO.
“Shane has a proven track record in leadership both as a CEO of Professionals and also in previous CEO positions within the real estate profession. His five
years of military experience, including working with the elite SAS have also given Shane the necessary discipline skills that will prove vital in his new role.
