We are committed to this cause and believe that financial assistance is key to enabling medical innovations and effecting change.
Our partnership with National Breast Cancer Foundation
We are proud to be associated with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), the country’s leading community-funded organization dedicated to raising money for breast cancer prevention and cure. Since 1994, NBCF has worked tirelessly to advance this cause, and donated over $100 million to more than 300 cancer research projects nationwide. NBCF’s wide-spectrum research focus encompasses getting to the root of the disease and psychosocial interventions aimed at improving survivors’ quality of life.
As NBCF’s Diamond Partner, we have raised over $3,000,000.00 and counting, to help achieve the organisation’s vision of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030. The funds collected have been carefully and wisely allocated by NBCF towards projects, and helped achieve results such as earlier diagnosis, better treatment and better quality of life. We are committed to continuing our association with the National Breast Cancer Foundation for many more years to come.
How do we raise funds?
Professionals donates a portion of every house sale to NBCF’s fund pool. We hold fund-raising auctions and community charity auctions all through the year across all regions where we operate. The Professionals family across Australia enthusiastically participates in the endeavour, holding ‘Pink Days’ and other events focused on attracting contributions from the community. Our leadership also proactively participates in the events, with a sporting attitude to do whatever it takes to raise money. Every October, our websites and window displays across Australia turn pink for the entire month to help raise awareness.
It’s a great feeling to know that with every sale, we are inching close to our shared goal of zero fatalities from breast cancer by 2030.
