Professionals began in 1976, when six independent real estate agents decided there had to be a better way to do business. A way built on collaboration, not competition. Together, they created a network where independence and shared support could work hand in hand – and everyone would benefit.
Registered as a not-for-profit marketing group, every dollar goes back into helping members grow through training, marketing and brand development. It wasn’t a franchise. It was a smarter, fairer model that put people first.
The idea took off quickly. Within five years, 45 offices had joined across Queensland and New Zealand. From there, Professionals expanded across Australia, Fiji and Papua New Guinea, growing into a network that now includes more than 200 offices.
That same spirit still drives us today. We’re as committed now as we were in 1976 to raising standards, supporting our members, and proving that when good people work together, great things happen.
