Professionals Real Estate Group has reinforced its leadership position in the WA real estate market with over $2 billion in property sales for the last financial year.
According to David Hobbs, CEO of Professionals Real Estate Group, Professionals sold properties valued at $2.14 billion over the 12 months ending June 2010.
“This is record annual sales turnover for the group and represents an increase in total sales of 33% compared to the previous financial year. Overall, the group sold 5,225 properties last financial year. This equates to a staggering one property being sold every two hours.”
“One area of significant growth was in regional Western Australia with Professionals recording strong activity in major regional centres such as Geraldton, Bunbury and Esperance. In particular, Geraldton was a star performer with total sales by that office nearly doubling to over 200 properties sold during the last financial year. Affordable property prices combined with massive new investment in the resources sector in the Mid-West region is resulting in very strong activity, especially by property investors.”
“Professionals also recorded very strong sales growth in more affordable areas in Perth with surging sales for our Armadale and Ballajura offices. Property sales also surged in Victoria Park with that office doubling the number of properties it sold last financial year. This was mainly due to the fact that it is one of the most affordable inner-city suburbs of Perth.”
“Breaking the $2 billion mark is a fantastic achievement for the group and one which all our 65 WA offices should be proud of. During the coming year, Professionals intends to expand our office network to over 70 offices with regional Western Australia targeted as a major area of future growth for the group,” he said.
